Like last summer we want to spend special days with Tyler and Gracie. A couple of weeks ago was our first chance to take them out and do something with them. We had planned to do something outside but the weather did not cooperate as it was raining so we went to our church and did some fun things with them.
The first thing we had to do was eat some lunch. Gramma packed a special lunch which we ate in the church kitchen.
After lunch Grampa and Gracie went down to the Kingdom Kids classroom and Gracie had to have some play time with Grampa.
“Grampa, What flavor of ice cream would you like?”
After this we went over to the Grace Ministry center where we took our turn at playing air hockey.
First up was Gramma against Grampa, Grampa won that game.
Then it was Tyler and Gracie’s turn. Tyler was the winner!
Next was Tyler against Grampa for the Grand Champion.
AND THE GRAND CHAMPION IS………………………………..TYLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After this, Grandpa and Tyler worked on fine tuning Tyler’s baseball skills.
While Tyler and Grampa were working on baseball, Gracie practiced her drawing skills on a white board in the mezzanine.
So even on a rainy day, we can still have lots of fun just being together.
