Yesterday morning as I looked out our kitchen window I was suprised to see a whole family of wild turkeys in our back yard. Christi started counting as they were in our rose bed and we counted at least 7 of them. Then when we walked out on the deck they started moving out from the rose bed into the lawn and as we kept counting there was 12 of them. We kind of laugh at all these hunters who travel sometimes long distances to bag their perfect turkey. And they even use a turkey caller to bring them in closeer, and here we just look out our window and there they are.

I wonder if Dad Joslin wants to come over and go bird hunting.
Hey there look at all those BROWN turkeys!!!!
They have to have a beard to shoot in the hunting season and you can't hunt in Hudsonville but it was nice to see them.
