It’s been quite a while since I posted anything I have done on the downstairs kitchen. The last post I did on this project I mentioned that I just needed to build and install the lower cabinet fronts. Well here is the finished project.
Now that the lower cabinets are done it was time to start building the upper cabinets. I started out in the corner building a Lazy-Susan cabinet. I built the cabinet box and then purchased the Lazy-Susan from Home Depot.
Next I built a small cabinet on each side and then larger one to the left of the sink. Then I installed the rails onto the fronts of the cabinets.
Next was installing the over-the-range microwave and then building a cabinet above it and to the side of it.
Now that they are all sanded they are ready for me to apply the stain. The cabinets are all built now. Next step is to put some protective finish on them and then build some more cabinet doors. Christi is getting so excited to be able to start putting stuff in her new kitchen cupboards.
Until next time,
Dale & Christi
