Picture Of The Day

Yesterday you seen a close up of the “Picture Of The Day”.  Here is the story behind it.   We recently had our church pictures taken as our church was having them taken as we are coming out with a new updated church directory.  Because I am on staff  I have a separate picture taken, so our youth pastor Chris, who is great photographer also, thought we would have some fun.  Thanks to the prodding of my wife we finally went through with it.  So this is my staff picture,

or maybe this one,

Okay so maybe we won’t use either one and go with the “proper” one,

                                    

                                       

I still think they should have used one of the two on top as it’s more a picture of what I do.  Well we had some fun anyway.

Picture Of The Day

Here is what was the picture of the day which I took on Wednesday when we took Tyler and Gracie for a walk at the Hudsonville Nature Center.

It was a close up picture of a Collection of Tent Worms.  They eventually turn into a butterfly or a moth.  This one was fairly small as I have seen them before in our yard at our last place in the fruit trees almost 3 times as big.

                                              

Hope everyone had a great Easter.  We had an enjoyable day with a great service at church, followed up with 7 people becoming baptized, and then our kids all over for dinner.

Nature’s Walk

It was a beautiful day today and I had the day off and we had Tyler and Gracie over.  After lunch we decided to go for a nice walk.  Hudsonville has a nice Nature Area with several trails so that is where we went.

 

We looked to find as many different varieties of flowers as we could.

Tyler and Gracie loved picking up sticks and pretending they had walking sticks, they also liked taking a rest at the various lookout stops.

There is nice stream of water that flows through the walk also and we could see it from a couple of driffent elevations.
